Janelle Leanne Willoughby passed away suddenly at her home in Indian Head, Saskatchewan on March 5, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1974, in Ponoka, Alberta to Don and Lois Sachs, the first of four daughters.
She attended Crestomere school for grades 1-9, then Ponoka Composite for high school. She then went to Red Deer College for one year and it was during this time she met a Saskatchewan farm boy by the name of Mark Willoughby who happened to be staying with his grandma in Ponoka.
They married on July 3, 1993. Three daughters blessed this marriage - Steffanie Lauren, Pamela May and Breanne Alyssa.
Janelle started working at the credit union in 1996 and was still employed there as a loans officer when she passed away.
She supported her community by leading Girl Guides for many years while her girls enjoyed the program, as well as working with the non-profit foundation, Forever Friends of Hope which raised funds to support those suffering from cancer. Another favorite was the local music festival.
Janelle will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Mark; her daughters, Steffanie, Pamela and Breanne (Brandon), as well as her granddaughter, Alice; her parents, Don and Lois; her sisters Shayna (Dean) Busat; Leah (Graham) Foot and Angela (Derek) Nordstrom; her In-Laws Terry and Wendy Willoughby, Cindy Willoughby and Duane (Alicia) Willoughby, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Fred and Anne Sachs and Don and Peggy McLaren.
