Jensine Kate 'Marie' Rentz of Rimbey, Alberta, formerly of Ponoka, passed away quietly at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Area Three on Monday, September 6, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Marie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her loving family: her son, Rick Rentz of Red Deer; and her four daughters, Janice (Rod) McDonald of Devon; Jacqueline Rentz (Alex Dantzer) of Sylvan Lake; Marsha (Tim) Duggan of Lacombe; and Teri (Richard) Nickle of Wainwright; as well as nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
She will also be lovingly remembered by two brothers, Dennis Andersen of Bluffton; and Chris Andersen of Hinton; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harvey; and her daughter, Deborah Ruhmor.
Marie's family would like to thank the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff in Area Three at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre for their loving attention and many kindnesses that were extended to Marie during her time spent in their care these past eight years.
A Graveside Service to Celebrate Marie's Life will be held at the Forest Home Cemetery, Ponoka where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Harvey on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1 pm. If friends desire, memorial tributes in her memory may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
