May 25, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry- Lee Reynolds on May 25, 2021, at the age of 60 years, after her courageous battle with cancer.
Jerry-Lee is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Colin Reynolds; and her daughter Ana Tynielle Reynolds. Other extended family members include Harry Reynolds, Bill and Marlene Goodbun, Paula and Ron Houghton (Amy and Lyndsay), Billie-Jean and Kevin Rowland (Gen and Taran-Lee), Bobbie-Jo and Joseph Christensen (Jaylen, Rae, and McKenna-Macy), Steven Reynolds (Graham and Jamie), Mark Reynolds and Murielle (Anthony), Amanda Reynolds (Nathan, Danielle, and Darian); and many other friends.
Jerry-Lee relocated to Ponoka from Drumheller and became a resident in the early 1980's. She was a very hard worker and took pride in all she did. Her several jobs included working for Davik Construction, Eagle Welding and Fabricating, and we all know her from that yummy place, Good-bun's Bakery! Jerry-Lee worked in the Ponoka Community Golf Course kitchen and finally for the Town of Ponoka Public Works Department (Gravel Truck #115 was her favourite!).
She was very active for 9 years with the Ponoka Pool Sharks Competitive Swim Club. Jerry-Lee loved her sports and definitely kept that TV remote active! Her other passions were cooking, baking, she loved gardening and flowers.
Also, in the summer months she did a lot of camping at their trailer spot at Gull Lake.
We will miss your loud laugh Jerry-Lee!!
Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, a private family Funeral Service is being held.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Red Deer Hospice Society, Central Alberta Animal Shelter and Rescue, S.P.C.A., or the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
