With great sadness, the family of Jack Scott announce his passing on July 1, 2021, at the age of 87. Forever missed by his children, Lynn (George) Croft, Paul (Barb) Scott, Steve (Mona) Scott; grandchildren Tyler (Rachel) Croft, Ryan (Brooke) Croft, Brandon Croft, Emerson (Candace) Scott, Shanea (Jason) Scott and great-grandchildren Charlie & Jaxon Fournier and Ophelia Croft; brothers Ervie Scott, Ed (Irene) Scott; sisters Marion Campbell, Vivian (George) McCaughey, Lyn (Barry) Christianson, Gwen (Dave) Andrews; many sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces & nephews.
"Cowboy Jack" as he was known by many, farmed east of Ponoka for 50 years with his wife Nell, who passed in 2020. Over the years, he enjoyed building/fabricating, horseback riding, old-time dancing, and telling jokes to name just a few, but especially driving his classic cars.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chan, A&W, Wendy's, and the Ranchers Castle for the kindness shown to Dad in the past few years.
A Graveside Service was held July 9, 2021, at Zion Christian Fellowship Church. Memorial Donations in Jack's name are gratefully accepted to the Zion Church or the Arthritis Society.
