TAYLOR

Joseph Alphonse Marie Taylor passed away surrounded by those who loved him, on February 27, 2018, at the age of 75, in the intensive care unit at the Red Deer Hospital.

He was born on March 4, 1942, in Montreal to James and Mary (Mc Neary) Taylor. Despite being raised in the difficult environment of foster care, Joe grew up to be a very well-rounded and loving individual.

During his life he proudly managed the men's department of the Eaton's Centre in downtown Toronto, ran crews during the construction of high-rises in downtown Calgary, and built and renovated homes in Maskwacis (Hobbema.)

In retirement he kept himself occupied by building wooden doll houses, model boats, and helping immigrants learn English as a second language.

He excelled the most as a caring and understanding father who gave all he could to his children.

Joe will remain in the hearts of his partner Susan Wallace, his children Stephanie, Jordan and Matthew Taylor and Matthew's wife Jesslyn Miller.

Since Joe never wanted to be the centre of attention, there will be no memorial service. He would only ask that he be remembered with fondness while perhaps enjoying a coffee and Baileys.

if you so desire please donate to the hard working nurses in the ICU at the Red Deer Hospital or to any organization that helps children in need.
