Joyce Delamarter was born on February 25, 1936 in Burtonsville, Alberta and passed away on January 31, 2021 in Rimbey, Alberta at the age of 84 years.
Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her husband Carl; son Dwayne, daughter Cindy (Wayne) Frudd, daughter Debbie (Kevin) Babcock, daughter Sheila (Edwin) Sande, and son Dwight (Elsa); grandchildren Janelle Frudd Bower, Julie Frudd Glass, Joel Babcock, Justin Babcock, Jeremy Babcock, Jordan Sande, Mitchell Sande, Allison Soosay, Essie Soosay, Kelsey Delamarter, and JR Delamarter; great-grandchildren Jack, Lauren, Ella, and Ethan Bower, Ezra, Asher, and Mason Glass, Samantha Babcock, Branson, Beau, and Denver Babcock, and Rylen and Weston Sande; her sister Sharon (Bob) Frederickson; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents George and Cecille Henkel, her brother Orville Henkel, her sister Barbara Schultz, and her great-granddaughter Carolyn Babcock.
Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings, a private family Funeral Service was held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1 pm at the Ponoka Funeral Home. A video recording of the service will remain on Joyce's obituary page (www.womboldfuneralhomes.com) for 90 days.
