Joyce passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2023, just shy of her 95th Birthday. She was born on January 9th, 1928, in Coronation, Alberta. She enjoyed teaching at Warburg, Calmar, Crestomere, and Ponoka Schools.
At Joyce's request, no formal funeral will take place. Joyce would encourage donations to the Food Bank; the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society; and Family & Community Support Services.
The family would like to thank the workers at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre for their care and attention. A special thanks is offered to Dr. Dutoit for her kind help and support over the years.
