June Wiancko (Moore)

In loving memory ~

June Marie Moore Wiancko was born June 1, 1935, to Orrie "Les" and Freda Moore. She was the 3rd of 11 children.

June took her schooling at Breton and Clive. She worked briefly out of the home until February 1952 when she married Harold Wiancko of Ponoka. This began her career as farmwife, mother to 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. June enjoyed visiting, playing cards, bingo, knitting, crocheting, and being with family. She loved nothing more than adopting people as family and became Nana to many. She entered long-term care in September of 2020 and died there peacefully September 20, 2024.

June is survived by her daughters: Melody Hansen and Marie (Terry) Cline; grandchildren: Mandy Hansen, Katie Hansen, Greg (Rebecca) Wiancko, Ryan (Lexie) Wiancko, Erin Cline, Paige Cline, Jordan Cline, Megan (Kenny) Atkinson, Nicolle Grover, Blake Grover, and Holly Ellison; great-grandchildren: Sammy, Taylee, Nicolas, Jasmine, Bailey, Kaydance, Wyatt, Hayley, Doc, Ruth, and Myles Jr.; great-great-grandson Kingston; as well as siblings: Melvin Moore, Vera Frick, Ethel Hingsburger, and Shirley Haakenson in addition to numerous extended family and friends. June is predeceased by: husband, Harold Wiancko, children: Debra Nekich, Myles Wiancko Sr., and Deneen Grover; and son's-in-law: Reno Nekich and Buck Hansen.
