Mom was raised in Invermay, Saskatchewan. She graduated as a registered nurse at Saskatoon City Hospital in 1946 and married George Loucks in 1947. They bought the Ford dealership in Ponoka in 1953.

Mom was active; working as a nurse part-time, helping in the business and raising five children. She was an excellent seamstress and made costumes for Ponoka Figure Skating Club. She was great cook and was famous for her lasagna and carrot cake. Mom loved to play the piano.

George and Kathleen were active members of the United Church and the golf club. After dad's passing, Mom built his dream home at Pigeon Lake where she lived alone for twenty years before moving to Edmonton in 2007.

Mom had a great sense of humour. Her family was important to her and she was always there for comfort and support.

Cremation has taken place and Mom's wish was to have a family memorial in Ponoka.

She is survived by her children, Barbara (Randy) Mandryk, Janet Johnston, Keith (Heather Loucks) and Marilyn Cromwell. She was loved by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandhildren.

Kathleen was pre-deceased by her father John Tulloch, her mother Ada Tulloch and siblings: Isabel, Arnold, Helen, Bill and Jean. She was also pre-deceased by her husband George Irwin Loucks (1982) and son William George Loucks (1971).
