Kay Jorgenson
On October 2, 2013 Mrs. Kay Jorgenson of Ponoka passed away at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ken in 2008. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sherryl (Daryl) Olson, granddaughter Kirstin (Murray) Sutcliffe and great-granddaughters Ryah and Chloe, granddaughter Karla (Scott) Gjesdal and great-grandsons Knute and Jakob, granddaughter Krystal (Rob) LeBlanc and great-grandsons Andreas and Oscar, and grandson Kenny (Shelly) Olson and great-grandson Haaken; her daughter Brenda (Clayton) Mellsen, grandson Damian Mellsen and great-grandchildren Talan and Ava, granddaughter Araylla (Jason) Lee and great-grandchildren Jayton and Ellyanah, grandson Evan (Shannon) Mellsen and great-grandchildren Jade, Ariadne and Ethan, and granddaughter Feyan Mellsen; her son Grant (Cathy) Jorgenson, grandson Mark (Caitlin) Jorgenson and great-grandchildren Graysen, Calah, Hannah and Malachi, and granddaughter Erin (Jon) Jonker and great-granddaughter Teagen; her son Allen (Gwenanne) Jorgenson and granddaughters Anelise, Nadia and Corin Jorgenson; Ken’s son Kenneth (Betty) Tand and family - Kenneth, David and Riley; her brother Reiny (Martha) Sommer; her sister Betty (Joe) Schmidt; and her sisters-in-law Lil Jorgenson and Shirley Sommer. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5501-54 Avenue, Ponoka at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 with the Interment Service following at Forest Home Cemetery.
