Ken Olmstead
1938 - 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Olmstead, of Erskine, on September 13, 2010 at the age of 71 years after a lengthy illness. He was born in 1938 to Milton and Emma Olmstead of Ponoka. Ken will be lovingly missed by his mother Emma Olmstead; his sisters Nita (Don) Allen and Donna (Nick) Street; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ken was predeceased by his wife Leona Olmstead, his dad Milton Olmstead, his sister and brother-in-law Louise and Ron Doupe. A small family gathering and celebration of Ken’s life was held at the Dakota Cemetery. Ken requested that there be no funeral service. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by the Dakota Cemetery.
