Lois Josephine (Wilson) Thompson

October 11, 1923 – August 27, 2010

Lois Thompson of Oxbow passed away in the Regina hospital on Friday, August 27th

2010 at the age of 86. She died from a heart attack following surgery. Lois was a hard

working wonderful woman who lived life with faith, gratitude, simplicity, strength,

willful determination and fortitude. She loved God, nature, animals, music, and life.

Lois had a kind compassionate heart, a keen mind, and delightful sense of humor.

Those who knew and loved her will miss her dearly.

Lois is survived by her husband Greg, sister Wilma Carry, son Elliott Larson (Francie),

son Spencer, and sister Wilma (Murray) Carry and their children Lorne, Wendy an

Kevin. She has two step grandchildren Beth (Mike) Rutty, and Jim (Linda) Whitwick;

four step great grandchildren Dan Whitwick, Jaymee Bates (Robbie), Christopher, and

Nicole Whitwick; and two great great grand children Baylee and Riley. Lois was

predeceased by her son Leslie Mortimer and brother James Wilson.

A special thanks to members of the Oxbow community who have been so kind and

helpful to Lois and Spencer, neighbors Ed and Donna, pharmacist Connie, Dr. Botha

and staff in Oxbow, and many others.

Funeral services: Weyburn, SK, Saturday, September 4th at 1:00 pm at the Church of

Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (425 - 10th Avenue SE); Cranbrook, B.C. Friday,

September 10th at 12 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2210 - 2nd
