Lori Dawn Williams passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the age of 41 years with her family by her side. Lori was born on February 18, 1982 in Ponoka, Alberta. She grew up on the family farm West of Ponoka alongside her 3 sisters.
After high school Lori followed in her mom's footsteps and became a teacher, teaching many different grades but loving kindergarten the most, just like her mom! Lori adored being an auntie to her nieces and nephews.
Lori embraced her life despite her many health issues over the years. Despite her many struggles, she fought until the end. Lori was an amazing daughter, sister and friend to many. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, friendly personality and fun-loving spirit.
Lori will be forever remembered by her parents, Don & Georgia, her sisters Kari (Curt) Topham, Jacey (Ryan) Gillespie, Shaily (Chad) Cargill. L
eft to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews that she loved so dearly, Delaney, Grady, Raeleigh, Deacon, Kalia, and Kellan and her two cats Sammy and Max.
Lori's memory will live on through her extended family and many friends who loved her. We collectively loved Lori so much . If love could keep Lori alive, she would have lived forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Red Deer Hospice Society or an animal shelter of your choice. The family wishes to send a special thank you to her doctor, Dr. Carin Swartz and the staff at the Red Deer Hospice Society for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life was held for Lori at the Stagecoach in Ponoka on Monday, January 8th at 1:00 p.m.
