Marcella Reed

Marcella Zella Reed was born July 22,1929, to Lloyd and Ruby Wilkins at Mainesburg, Pennsylvania. She married her high school sweetheart on July 7, 1949. They moved to Three Hills, Alberta to attend Prairie Bible Institute. While there they had three children Gordon, Tim, and Ruth. They moved to Kentucky in 1953 to work at a children's home. While there they had two more daughters Tamara and Sharon. They moved back to Three Hills in 1957 and were on staff at Prairie Bible Institute. They then moved to Gull Lake and the Ponoka area until the present time. Mom suffered from Parkinson's disease and was in the Northcott Long Term Care Facility for the past three years. Marcella was welcomed to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Left to mourn her passing while yet celebrating a life well lived is her loving and faithful husband Bob, son Gordon and his wife Betty, their children--Don and Karen (Tulston and Braxton), Tracy and Paddy (Dakota and Shelby), Chris and Deena (Colter, Baret, and Hayden), Jolene and Kyle Miller (AJ and Nichole). Tim's children Jenni and Adrian Bright (Natalie, Matthew and Daniel), Charlie, Sandi and Filippo Falcone (Miriam, Benjamin and Ryan). Ruth and Doug Sept, their children Ben and Rachel (Mason, Arden and Reed), Ryan and KaraLyn ( Molly, Henry, Tilly and Hattie), Jeremy and Krista. Tamara and Frank Roe, their children Kimberly and Will Hill (Ethan, Alaina and Giana), James, Jessica and Ryan Peachey, Stan and Amy, Sharon and Tess Gilchrist-Reed (Chris and Zach). Sister Gloria Marple as well as many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Lloyd and Ruby Wilkins, her siblings Sylvia Lyons, Lucille Morgan, Arlene Wilkins, Marjorie Blow, and Lloyd Wilkins Jr.. Marcella was also pre-deceased by her loving son Timothy on June 3, 2016. As a family we will always miss Mom but rejoice knowing she is now free of pain and is praising her Saviour all the day long.
