SABO, MARGARET JEAN, born in Calgary, Alberta on April 14, 1935, passed away suddenly in Penticton, BC on January 20, 2010 at the age of 74 years.

Margaret married William on March 20, 1954 in Calgary, Alberta where they lived until 1966. From then until 1971 they owned several pizza businesses in Edmonton. They then moved to Ponoka, Alberta where they owned an excavating business and chose to raise their family. In 2001 they retired to Oliver, BC. Margaret loved the area and called it the “Valley Of Heaven In The Okanagan” VOH 1T0.

Margaret and William enjoyed travel and RVing, and spent several winters in Yuma, Arizona. She dedicated her life to her family’s happiness and well-being.

She enjoyed time with her friends with whom she was known as Maggie, Marge or Marj. With her positive outlook, she always looked at the brighter side of things. Margaret’s bubbly personality, kindness, love of people, family and friends will forever be remembered.

Margaret will be deeply missed by her loving husband William Sabo, of 55 years, her children; Sandy Boblin of Oliver, BC, Donald (Maria) Sabo of Calgary, Alberta, and Michael Sabo of Lacombe, Alberta, four grandchildren; Tara Vande Bunte, Travis Boblin, Katrina Boblin and Sean Sabo, and one great-grandson, Conner Dux.

A Memorial Service will take place at the Sabo residence in Oliver, BC on February 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. RSVP at 1-250-485-0988.
