Margaret Mickey
On December 4, 2011 Mrs. Margaret Mickey of Ponoka passed away at the Ponoka Hospital & Care Centre at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Frank Mickey; daughter Wendy (Gordon) DeLeeuw; son-in-law Don Hart; four grandchildren Brandi (Dustin) Abt, Bo (Jolene) DeLeeuw, and Amanda & Angela Hart; and five great-grandchildren Keenan, Ryan, Riley, Colton and Jenna. She was predeceased by her parents John & Anne Smith; sister Shirley; two brothers Ken & Brian; and her daughter Jayne Hart. A Memorial Service will be held at the Stagecoach Saloon (Ponoka Stampede Grounds) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 with a reception to follow.
