Marion Raugust

On December 14, 2021 Marion Christine Raugust of Ponoka passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 81 years.
Marion will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Walter; her son Brad (Raelene) Raugust, grandson Matthew Raugust, granddaughter Carissa Raugust, granddaughter Jessica (Chase) & great-grandson Ryder Nicholson, grandson William Klassen, and granddaughter Lily Raugust; her daughter Brenda (Dwight) Durie, grandson Braden Durie, and granddaughter Bailey (Steve) Bergstrom; her brothers Richard (Patricia) Jones, Gord (Kris) Jones, and Bing (Shirley) Jones; brothers-in-law Alfred (Hilda) Raugust and Joe Megyesi; sisters-in-law Gertie Blumstengel, Hildegard Meske, and Annie (Larry) Grant; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Marion was predeceased by her daughter Bonnie; sisters-in-law Pamela Jones, Ella Megyesi, and Lillian Makus; and brothers-in-law Fred Blumstengel, Heinz Meske, and Fritz Makus.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Marion's life was held at the Stagecoach (Ponoka Stampede Grounds) at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. A video recording of the service is available online. The video viewer is located on Marion's obituary page at womboldfuneralhomes.com.
