Mary Anne Newman (nee Glaser) was born on November 18, 1920 in Lampman, Saskatchewan and passed away on January 4, 2019 in Red Deer, Alberta at the age of 98 years. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Kane; her grandchildren Mike Kane (Shawn), Kevin Kane, and JoLynn Kane; and her great-grandson Jesse Kane. She is also survived by her 3 sisters Helen Newman of Red Deer, Alberta, Rose Wallace of Toronto, Ontario and Joyce Graham of Lethbridge, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Mary Anne was predeceased by her husband Otto, her son John, and her son-in-law David Kane. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Donations are gratefully accepted to any charity of your choice.
