Mary (Hildebrandt) Hingst was born the first day of summer, June 21, 1921. She died the first day of fall, September 23, 2008. Mary is already immensely missed by her children Jeanette (Robert Aishford), Dorothy (Ted Griffiths), Susan (Jim Erickson) and Bob Hingst. Mary was blessed with six grandchildren: Tricia Erickson, Rob (Kellie) Erickson, Teri Stiles, Jenny Griffiths, Vicki Griffiths and Robb Aishford. Madison and Jaxson Stiles are her beloved great-grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Fred on April 10, 1981. Among the favourite things in Mary’s life were her family; her pets - Max, Pippy and Corky; winning at cards, particularly crib; road trips, TV game shows (she knew the answers); and chicken fingers. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, September 27th at the Ponoka Funeral Home. Memorial donations to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
