Pat was born on December 4, 1924 in Ormskirk, County of Lancaster, England, she passed away peacefully on December 22, 2018 in Stettler, Alberta at the age of 94 years.
Pat came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride with
her husband George Thompson, settling in the Ponoka area where she and George farmed and raised their family. Pat loved the country way of life; the animals, gardening, the changing seasons and her dear family, friends and neighbours. Due to health reasons Pat has
resided in Stettler for the past three years.
Pat was predeceased by her husband George Thompson in 2005 and son Wayne Thompson in 2012. She is survived by her loving family: daughters Sandra Kohl of Terrace, BC and Gena Hart of Bashaw, eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
A celebration of Pat's life will be announced and celebrated at alater date. Donations in her memory are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice c/o Stettler Funeral Home & Crematorium, P.O.
