Melvin Riske

Melvin Riske was born in Bashaw on January 10, 1939 and died on June 16, 2010 in Red Deer. Melvin is survived by many loving and supportive friends whom he treasured most dearly. He is survived also by his sisters Marion (Hal) Neldner and Joanne (Paul) Gandy; his brother Duane (Christine) Riske; two nieces Cindy and Karly and three nephews Derek, Nathan and Vaughn. Melvin was predeceased by his father Karl in 1993 and his mother Florence in November 2009. Melvin touched the hearts of many and he will always be remembered for helping us appreciate the value of every single day of our lives. Melvin’s life will be celebrated at a Funeral Service on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home with the Interment Service following at Forest Home Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to Ponoka Home Care or any charity of your choice.
