Muriel Jean Nelson
On March 27, 2015 Mrs. Muriel Nelson of Ponoka passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 83 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children Betty (John) Bremner, Alan (Brenda) Nelson, and Donna (Jason) Sawyer; grandchildren Jenny-Rae (Aaron) Turnbull, Danny (Trish) Nelson, Shanda Sawyer, Reed Nelson, Shelby Sawyer, and Kevin Wiles; great-grandchildren Malachi, Ezra, and Chance; as well as numerous brothers-in-law & sisters–in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Alton Nelson and her son Ray Nelson. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation at the Ponoka Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1st at 11:00 a.m.. The Interment Service will take place at the Forest Home Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at the Royal Canadian Legion at 2:00 p.m..
