Myrtle Stewart
Myrtle was born on March 12, 1922 and passed away on July 5, 2011 at the Northcott Lodge in Ponoka. Myrtle is survived by her daughter Darlene McLaren; her son Stanley (Susan) Stewart; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brothers Bob and Hugh Crandall; her sisters Elsie Bragg, Marie Bragg and Dixie Malcher; Brian McLaren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Glen Stewart; her parents Marcus and Ida Crandall; her twin brother Jimmy; her sisters Mildred & Eva; half brothers and sisters-in-law Alva (Ada) Crandall and Ernest (Arlene) Crandall; half sisters Ella Crandall & Edith Santee; and sister-in-law Edna Stewart. A Funeral Service will be held at the Church of the Open Bible in Ponoka at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011. The Interment will take place at the Ferrybank Cemetery. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Church of the Open Bible Missions.
