It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Berg after a long and fruitful life. Norm is lovingly remembered by his partner of 25 years Lana; daughters Sherrilyn and Dena; grandchildren Blaine (Bethany), Lacey, Jaime (Will), Jordie (Shelley), Miranda, Kati and Vanessa; great-grandchildren Arley, Sebastian, Gallagher, Mason, Alivia, Enzo, Bobby and Jaxon; and Lana's immediate family: Valerie (Al) and their children Kyle and Dakota; Tracy (Harley) and their children David, Dawson and Brooklyn; Craig (Candace) and their children Addison, Jackson and Georgia.Among those mourning his loss are his siblings Irene, Elmer, Wenzel and Dayton as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.Norm is predeceased by his parents Ole and Borghild; wife Dorothy; sons Rick and Darin; sisters Edith, Eva and Dora; brothers Lawrence, Clayton, Dennis and Lance.A Celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Ponoka on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Donations in memory of Norm are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimers Foundation or the Ponoka and District Health Foundation (Long Term Care).
