OTTO BRACHMANN

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, bus driver and entertainer Alfred Otto Brachmann, 81, passed away suddenly at his home on November 17, 2012 with his wife Myrtle at his side. Otto is survived by his loving wife Myrtle Brachmann. They have been married for 48 years and still reside on Otto’s Family farm where he was born. He is survived by his loving children: His eldest son Ben Brachmann and his wife Jill; and their three boys, Lee and his wife Danielle and their three daughters (Jessica, Julia and Annalise), Matt Brachmann and Cole Brachmann. His daughter Rose Brachmann and her four children; Lana and her husband Rob Simmonds and their two daughters (Mya and Ainsley), Kyle Grapentine, Brant Magotiaux and Jenna Magotiaux. His daughter Vangie Gray and Dwight Dufva, and their three children; Cara and her husband Tim Herbert and their four children (Carson, Carli, Gracie and Hunter), J.C. Gray and his wife Jamie and their three boys (Kadence, Owen and Chase) and Calee Dufva. His son Danny Brachmann and his wife Marjorie and their three children; Bowin, Danya and Delaney Brachmann. His daughter Jennifer and her husband Marty Trimble and their three daughters; Brenna, Brooklynn and Bella Trimble. His youngest daughter Faye and her husband Colin Leforte and their two children; Maddison and Kelton. His sister Frieda Schaerer, many nephews, nieces, extended family and special friends. Otto was born on the farm north of Crestomere, he was the youngest of five children. Otto raised his family on that same location which he still farmed with his son Danny. Otto happily drove the Crestomere School Bus for 30 years. Otto was an avid entertainer and volunteer and brought much joy to many for over 60 years with his music. Otto will be fondly remembered by many and missed for his music, generosity and kindness. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Rimbey Zion Lutheran Church located at 4521 – 54th Avenue, Rimbey. Lunch will be served following the service.
