Pat was born April 21, 1952 to Patrick and Theresa Curtis (Nee McLean). She was the oldest of five children, the only girl.
Pat received her schooling in Glace Bay, Halifax, and Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Pat came to Ponoka for a job teaching with the Separate School.
She met the love of her life, Neil Turner and they were married in April of 1980. They continued to live together in Ponoka for 40 years. They had no children.
Pat fought a courageous battle against cancer.
Pat is survived by her 4 brothers, their spouses, and their children: Michael (Wendy) of Birch Grove, Nova Scotia, Eugene of Glace Bay Nova Scotia, Kimble of Red Deer, and Janssen of Calgary.
On the Turner side, Pat is survived by: Ray (Theresa) of Ponoka, Doreen (John) Turk of Airdrie, Lorraine (Rudi) Blatter of Edmonton, her loving husband Neil of Ponoka, and Connie (Tom) Sykes of Edmonton. Pat will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews on the Turner and Curtis sides.
