Randy Pinksen

It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of our Husband, Dad, Grand-pa, Pa-Pa, Great-Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend, Randy Pinksen. Born on June 2, 1941 in Sop’’s Arm, Newfoundland he passed away suddenly on June 3, 2011 at McTaggart Lake, Saskachewan –– his beloved fishing cabin.

Left to mourn is his loving wife of 48 years, Marilyn Pinksen of Ponoka, AB. Children: Jim (Jay) Pinksen of Ponoka, AB, Eric (Cristy) Pinksen of Medicine Hat, AB, Rick (Lil) Pinksen of Brampton, ON and Miranda Pinksen of Ponoka, AB; Grand-Children: Lansey, Amber, Ian, Katie, Little Randy, Katrina, Chirstina, Stephano, Angelica, & Reid; Great Grand-Children: Cameron, Gage, Leah & Christopher; Sisters: Olive Legge of Cormack, NFLD, Dorothy (Chesley) Wight of Cormack, NFLD and Donna Gilley of Deer Lake, NFLD; Brothers: Max (Lorraine) Pinksen of Labrador City, NFLD, Melvin (Hilda) Pinksen of Sop’’s Arm, NFLD, Gary (Joan) Pinksen of Bay Roberts, NFLD, Dave (Verna)Pinksen of Labrador City, NFLD and Garfield (Florence) Pinksen of Roddickton, NFLD; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Mary Pinksen. Memorial Donations will be gratefully accepted to the Ponoka FCSS –– Emergency Fund. May his legacy of helping others live on. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Ponoka Funeral Home, 5115-50th Avenue with the Interment Service following at Forest Home Cemetery.
