Robert Dale Adcock, of Ponoka, Alberta, passed away September 24, 2020. He was born December 17, 1947, in Lacombe Alberta.
He was a kind and loving partner to his wife Connie, who he met at a dance in the Crestomere area. A wonderful and dedicated father as the primary caregiver to his children. He was a gentle caring man, who was really good with babies and animals.
He was a wise, generous, respectful, person and would help anyone and everyone. Bob had vast experience with many different occupations, including his own delivery service, he was a professional driver including long haul truck transport, working in construction, managing a Co-op supply store, was mechanically inclined, and he was a MacGyver of sorts, with the ingenuity to create and work with his hands.
He loved country living, dogs, horses, and music.
Robert is greatly missed and survived by his wife, Connie; his children, Kerri Brown, Kathy Fay Adcock, TJ Adcock, Jack Adcock, Jennifer Adcock, and Jeremy Adcock; his 16 grandchildren; his 6 great grandchildren; his sisters Violet (Eric) Darrach, Margaret (Neale) Ronald, Linda Rendle, Kim Adcock; his brothers Charles (Carol), Miles (Fay), Wade (Kathy), Sandy (Norma). Remember the dash placed between the years from the beginning – to the end. For that dash represents all the time spent alive on this earth, and now only those who knew him, know what that little line is worth.
