Robert passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre with his dear wife by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Donna; their daughter Janet; son Brian (Gail) and their children Thomas and David (Emma), and great-granddaughters Miriam, Rachel, and Matthew; daughter Cheryl McLeod (Shawn), Dexter (Kelsey), and Ben; as well as his brother Walter (Truda). Robert was predeceased by his parents, his brother Harold in 2000 and his great-grandson Aaron in 2019. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, May 13th at 2:30 p.m. at the Rimbey Christian Reformed Church. The family would like to thank Rimbey Valley View Manor and the Acute Care Unit of the Rimbey Hospital for their compassion and care. Memorial donations in Robert's name can be made to Samaritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child by calling the Calgary office at 1-800-663-6500. Robert was never one to rush into making hasty decisions and these two phrases epitomize how he lived his life: "It will all turn out ok" and "We will just have to wait and see."
