Victor Allman Mayled

Victor was born on June 24, 1922 and died April 1, 2013. He was born in Edmonton and raised on the PMH grounds. In 1948 he married Florence Konkin and in 1952 built a house on “The Hill” in Ponoka. They only had one child, Susan, in 1955. Vic enjoyed many hobbies such as woodworking, carving and sailing. He is survived by his daughter Susan Laycraft (Ron) of Edmonton; two grandsons Matthew Laycraft (Candice) of Edmonton and Curtis Laycraft (Roxanne) of Victoria; one spectacular great-granddaughter Felicity of Edmonton; as well as his beloved brother Ron Mayled (Joyce) of Claresholm. He was predeceased by his devoted wife of 52 years, Florence. A Funeral Service was held at the Forest Home Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
