Wayne Basawa of Ferintosh passed away on November 20, 2017 at the age of 71 years.
Wayne was born on September 7, 1946 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario to parents William and Elizabeth Basawa.
Wayne is lovingly remembered by his children Wayne Bellmore (Deb), Niki Luft (Mike), Stefanie Halfyard (Cory), Korinna Basawa, and Lea Basawa (Kyle); nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brothers as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He will be always loved and dearly missed.
A Celebration of Wayne's Life was held at the Ferintosh Hi U Centre at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
