Winnie Carlson
On April 24, 2012 Mrs. Winnie Carlson of Ponoka passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her family: Mavis (Don) Allison and their family Rodney, Donna (Dave, Amanda, Jessica, Jeremiah & Dominick), Dale, Jaqui (Eldon, Traci, Brad & Dean); Ron Clifford (Coleen) Carlson and their family Shirley (Todd), Brian (Rowena, Jerrin & Ricki), Shelley (Alisha, Christian & BraeLynn), Troy (Rebecca, Kale, William & Jonah), David, Sonya, Pamela, Janine and Jesse; Ann Marrie (Larry) Lehr and their family Wade (Renae, Brooklyn & Jaylah) and Lauri Ann (Tom, Taylor, Tenniel, Sydne Jayde & Savanna); Dave (Connie) Carlson and their family Jason (Rachelle, Talia & Kayden) and Curtis (Cynthia); her special friend Alfred; and one sister Jean Tofsrud. She was predeceased by her husband Clifford; daughter Caroline; parents Tom & Lizzie Hopps; sisters Doris Nagel and Betty Houston; and her brother Tom (Clara) Hopps. A thank you to Dr. Halse and the Staff at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre and the Rimoka Lodge for the special love and care they showed mom. A Funeral Service was held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
