LETTER: Ponoka senior fears for her pension

web1_170628-pon-ponoka-news-letters_1

Alberta I am fearful,

You plan confusing, disturbing changes, or stopping the Canada Pension Plan payments.

That would stop my main income. I presently receive payment from CPP. It is above the basic due to disability.

With only the old age pension I could not pay the basics: utilities, taxes, medicines and other medical needs, insurance, groceries and other such needs. There is always the unexpected such as house or car maintenance.

Having become a senior, must I live in fear?

A.J. Zelasek,

Ponoka
