Dear Editor,
Just thought I’d make mention of how encouraged I was to be a part of the Ponoka Stampede Parade this year. Our church (Parkland Reformed Church) had a float promoting Red Deer Pro Life.
The reason I was so encouraged was because of all the support we received as we made our way through the streets. Many hands waved, much clapping was heard, and many thumbs-up were received. It was especially a blessing to receive this from many mothers with their infant children.
I was left thinking, “Hey, Ponoka! You’re more pro-life than you might think! Good for you!” What a wonderful town to raise a family. May God bless us with continued numerical growth through the joy of marriage and family. Thanks again for all who supported us, and to the organizers for a great job.
