Unwanted graffiti creating are ruining the trails experience; reader

Dear Editor,

Many people use the trails to enjoy a walk either with friends or to walk their dogs.

They want to enjoy the fresh air, the birds chirping, the ducks on the river and the feel of the trees. It is a time to relax and enjoy nature. However, it is hard to stay in a happy mood when a person sees the graffiti on the walking development board.

The dark green is very obvious and it is spread all over the board so that one cannot read the information. The trails are a public place for everyone to enjoy. It makes me very angry when some citizens mess up the pristine area with their senseless writing.

It is the responsibility of every person to keep our town neat, clean and graffiti free. It would be a great service to the community if the person(s) who wrote the graffiti on the board at the north trail would wash it off.

Sincerely yours,

Nettie Riley
