Dear Editor,

(Snow removal observations)

46 Avenue from the aquaplex to the Kinsmen Community Centre. 51 Street from the Coop subdivision to the Drop in Centre and 54 Street from the Fire Hall to Highway 53 past the rink are Priority 2 routes.

Town operations did 51 Street from Highway 2A and stopped at the ATB corner and they did 54 Street from the Fire Hall to Highway 53. They didn’t do from ATB to the Drop In Centre or from the aquaplex to the Kinsmen Community Centre.

46 Avenue from the aquaplex to Kinsmen Community Centre gets a lot of traffic. All the equipment is there, why wouldn’t you do four more blocks?

I see lots of seniors struggling to park and get across the street. Ponoka prides itself on being a Senior Friendly Town, meanwhile the grader is in Riverside plowing around the garbage cans set out for pickup.

Let’s get it together folks!
