Dear editor:
While the headline says “intends” it states that the MOU was signed on June 26, 2020. What kind of public consultation took place prior to this decision? Who made this decision? What kind of public input will there be for the future development of this land if it is owned by the PSA? I feel this land transfer would greatly benefit the PSA but would hurt the taxpayers and residents of Ponoka.
If you are someone that has concerns about this transfer of land please call the town office, mayor or councillors to voice your concerns. Any like-minded individuals who would like to discuss general issues regarding town management, please contact me.
