Reader concerned about sidewalk safety in Ponoka

Dear editor,

Dear editor,

I have made several complaints to the town office about sidewalks in town. And people stringing block heater cords across the same sidewalks. They don’t keep clean.

And the town is just as bad. The sidewalk west of the elementary school has not been plowed for far too long. With all the equipment the town has, our town should be cleaner. The Town of Bashaw does a better job with less employees and equipment.

There are people in this town with mobility issues. Why does the town have a bylaw officer if he is not doing his job.

Curtis Zimmer,

Ponoka
