Stampede letter apology

When my parents were alive, we camped a lot. I was taught to be respectful of Mother Earth.

Dear Editor:

When my parents were alive, we camped a lot. I was taught to be respectful of Mother Earth. When we left Ponoka, we had four big, black garbage bags of refuse in my Jeep.

I also wasn’t one of the ones spinning out, but I heard them too. I’m sorry the tone of my letter offended Ms. Derry. I apologize and hope you have a nice rest of the summer.
