Last month, we recognized our incredible substitute teachers during Substitute Teacher Appreciation Week. STAR Catholic School Division is grateful to be able to count on highly dedicated and hardworking substitute teachers who unfailingly lend a helping hand when our teachers are in need.

Substitute teachers have always been appreciated and respected, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, they have gone above and beyond to aid our division. With their help, we have been able to ensure our students continue to receive the high-quality education they deserve without interruption.

Every one of our substitute teachers is a valued member of the STAR Catholic family, and we could not meet the needs of our students and families without them on our team. The pandemic has been a challenging time for all of us, certainly for our substitute teachers, and we admire their flexibility as they overcome obstacles and continue to step up when help is needed.

To our substitute teachers and all others across the province: thank you. We could not have navigated this pandemic without you, and we are truly blessed to have you in our corner.
