The Western Pleasure Open Champion was Cedarcrest Notable Son ridden by John Beaver and owned by Gloria Pitts.

The 51st Alberta Morgan Horse Show was held at the Calnash Ag Event Centre from Sept. 4 to 6.

Classes offered were Morgan, American Saddlebred and All Breed Divisions.

The event was an Equine Canada Sanctioned Silver Competition.

The judge was Donna Kavangh, aong with dressage judge Wendy Clark.
