PHOTOS: Ponoka Legion marks Decoration Day

The Ponoka Legion observed Decoration Day on Sept. 16, placing Canadian flags on headstones of service members. A history of Decoration Day was given, explaining it was how veterans were recognized before World War I. In attendance were legion members, Lacombe-Ponoka MLA Jennifer Johnson, Mayor Kevin Ferguson, county Coun. Bryce Liddle, and Ron Labrie and his Broncs World Tour students.
