Ponoka United Church hosted a free, community spaghetti dinner on Sept. 21.
Community members were treated to spaghetti (regular or gluten free), meat sauce, garlic bread and salad and brownies for desert.
Rev. Robin King said about 115 people through for the event.
King added while the church has held dinners in the past, this was the first one offered free of charge.
“We plan on doing them regularly, ” said King. “At this point, every couple of months.”
The next dinner may be in early or mid-November, but a date has not yet been set.
