Ponoka drama class gets lots of laughs

St. Augustine School’s drama class’s production of The Wedding Intern’s Farce was performed to an appreciative audience on Dec. 16.

The farce, directed by Dayna Wittal, had two performances: Dec. 15 and 16.

In the comedy, an intern at a wedding centre runs into trouble when she makes a scheduling error, booking two weddings at the same time, and the parties do not get along.

The roles of interns were played by Rebekah MacLeod, Emma Witvoet and Mikaela Green.

The production was written by Jon Jory and Michael Bigelow Dixon.
