There was a great turnout for the Summer Barrel Jackpot on Aug. 12 at the Calnash Ag Event Centre, with 141 open entries, 26 youth and seven peewee.
1D placings were first, with a time of 23.867, Kayden Horn on Charlie; second place, at 25.629, Jenna Chapman on Disco; and third, at 27.658, Kyler Schwerdt on Stricker.
In 2D placings, Winn Grover came in first place at 32.963 seconds on Grover.
For the 3D placings, Ethan Myers was first with a time of 48.136 on Royal and Kallie Miller, riding Twilight, came in second at 53.340.
The open fast time winner was Tana Millard on BQD Easily Scrutin, at 17.431.
The youth fast time went to Brooklyn Leer on Perfect Hula Girl with a time of 17.846.
The next jackpot is Aug. 19, starting at 3 p.m.
