VIDEO: Canada Day in Ponoka

Photos and videos of Canada Day celebrations around town

Ponoka celebrated Canada Day and the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions with fireworks sponsored by the Town of Ponoka and the Ponoka Stampede Association. The fireworks went off with a bang, starting at 11:20 p.m.

Earlier in the day, residents of Legion Anniversary Arms on 54 Ave. gathered outside the building to sing ‘O Canada.’ The walk way’s railing was decorated with orange ribbons and Canada flags.

Hamilton’s IGA held their annual Canada Day barbecue in their parking lot as well.
