Want to enjoy a new experience? Well, if you are 55 years old and like to compete, we have the games for you.
The Alberta 55 plus Summer Games are being held in Westlock/Barrhead July 25 to 28. These games attract more than 1,000 Albertans from all corners of the province. But to get there you have to qualify by competing in and winning a zone playoff which are beginning April 3. Activities include athletics, bocce, contract bridge, cribbage (doubles and singles), cycling, floor curling, floor shuffleboard, golf, horseshoes, military whist, pool 8-ball, slo-pitch, swimming, tennis, creative writing and arts and crafts.
