Badminton tourney: Nic Seymour is quick to respond to his opponent last weekend during the Broncs/Rams badminton tournament last weekend. The tournament was held at the École Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School while the Ponoka Secondary Campus’ gym is still under construction.

The Broncs badminton team hosted their annual open invitational on April 4th and 5th at the Ecole Secondaire Lacombe Composite High School in conjunction with the Lacombe Rams. The event was open to Grades 7 to 12 students. Approximately 150 players from 10 schools participated. This was a large turnout and a most successful event,. It also gives the players a chance to play in a tournament atmosphere prior to area playoffs, which take place in Lacombe on April 16, to be followed by zone playoffs on April 28 and Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA) provincials May 2 to 3 in Lethbridge.
