In the team roping event it was good to see Canada and the United States getting along as John Robertson, from Polsen, Mont., and Levi Simpson, from Clareshome, Alta., posted the fastest time in the showdown, roping their steer in 5.8 seconds.
Patrick Smith and Trevor Brazile finished second after winning the average with a time of 16.2 seconds over three runs.
