The Ponoka Broncs girls’ volleyball team returned from Stettler this past Saturday, Nov. 15, with a silver finish in the CWAJHAA finals.

The Ponoka Broncs girls’ volleyball team returned from Stettler this past Saturday, Nov. 15, with a silver finish in the CWAJHAA finals.

Ponoka went undefeated in round-robin play to face David Thompson for the gold medal, losing in two sets.

The first set was a nail-biting, back-and-forth rally-fest that ended in a score of 25-20 for Ponoka girls.

The team ran out of steam in the second set, though they continued to play hard, eventually conceding a 25-15 win to the gold-medal winners.
